Chatbot

An AI programme designed to simulate conversation. Used for customer service and virtual assistants.

Clustering

Grouping unlabelled data into meaningful clusters. See also: Unsupervised Learning.

Cold Start Problem

A challenge when AI systems lack enough data to make accurate predictions.

Compliance Review (Wordflow)

A Wordflow feature that checks AI-generated content against a brand's custom compliance rules before publishing. Compliance Review flags regulated language, missing disclaimers, and brand policy violations at the point of creation — available on all plans, with quota limits by tier.

Computer Vision (CV)

AI that interprets and understands images or videos. Used in self-driving cars and medical imaging.

Constitutional AI

Training AI models with a framework of ethical rules.

Content Hub (Wordflow)

A centralised Wordflow feature to store, organise, and reuse AI-generated content.

Custom Wordflows (Wordflow)

User-built workflows tailored to specific marketing goals.

Cosine Similarity

A metric used to measure how similar two pieces of text. It's often used to match search queries with the most relevant answers.

Citation Rate

The percentage of AI-generated responses that include a direct citation or source link to a brand's content. High citation rate indicates strong AI search authority. Tracked in Wordflow AI Search Campaigns as a measure of how often AI platforms credit a brand as a source.

ChatGPT

An AI assistant built by OpenAI, one of the most widely used AI-powered answer platforms. ChatGPT uses GPT-based models to respond to natural language queries — making it a primary channel for brand discovery in the AI search layer. Tracked across all Wordflow plans, including the Free plan.

Compliance Checklist (Wordflow)

A governance object in Wordflow defining a brand's regulatory and policy rules for AI-generated content. Compliance Checklists are applied alongside Brand Profiles and Audience Personas during content creation in GEO Writer and Templates, catching regulated language, missing disclaimers, and policy violations before content is published.

Content Engineering

The practice of structuring, formatting, and optimising content so it is readily understood, cited, and surfaced by AI platforms. Content engineering covers how information is organised, linked, attributed, and marked up to perform in both traditional search and AI-generated answers — core to Wordflow's positioning as an AI search and content engineering platform.

Context Window

The maximum amount of text an AI model can process in a single interaction — including the prompt, conversation history, and retrieved content. Larger context windows allow models to consider more source material when generating answers, which can affect how and whether a brand's content is incorporated into an AI-generated response.
